How to Do the Best Dental SEO: Dental SEO Keywords
Doing keyword research can be bothersome, especially if it's not your profession.
Here's the short version for dental practices: what search volume and keyword difficulty mean, where to find both for free, and how to turn that research into pages that bring patients in.
How to find dental SEO keywords
To get traffic from search engines, your website needs the right keywords as headings and main ideas. You find them by researching two numbers: search volume and ranking difficulty.
Every Google search for a specific inquiry contributes to Search Volume (SV). The number of websites trying to answer that inquiry contributes to Keyword Difficulty (KD). A good keyword for your practice has enough volume to matter and a difficulty your site can realistically compete with.
Keyword software shows you both. Ahrefs offers a free keyword generator tool, and Google Ads includes keyword metrics, so you can start the research without spending anything.
Turn the research into headings
Keyword research should decide which headings appear on your site. Plenty of practices have had a website for years that just floats out at sea with no traffic. Do your SEO due diligence, or hire someone to set the site on the right path.
Keep your homepage light on text. If you have a lot to explain, break it into smaller blurbs spaced across different sections. Make it easy and entertaining for a patient to experience your website.
